Titanopsis calcarea

Titanopsis calcarea

Titanopsis means "of chalky appearance", a reference to the warts on the surface of the leaves. T. calcarea is one of several species seen in cultivation, but it is by far the most common. Although its yellow flowers are very attractive, it is the warty leaves which are its most interesting feature.
