Huernia bayeri

Huernias are rewarding plants, perhaps easier to keep alive and more free flowering in cultivation than some of the other Asclepiads. In addition they are compact growing plants with attractive, and fairly large, flowers. Huernia bayeri comes from the Cape Province of South Africa.
